Our carers

We are committed to training and supporting our foster carers so they can make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.

Importantly, the fostering team includes fostering support workers to help maintain challenging placements.

Our extensive, bespoke training programme includes the stages of attachment, vicarious trauma and autism. It is tailored to individual foster carer’s needs to equip them to give excellent support.

Our carers benefit from:

  • a 24 hour support line
  • personalised training and personal development
  • a named supervising social worker
  • additional  support from fostering officers
  • generous allowances
  • social events

The agency provides good support to foster carers, so as to ensure that they provide safe and caring homes for children and young people.

Members of the panel demonstrate a professional commitment to ensuring high standards in their decision making.

Foster carers and the young people are supported by a service that promotes good practice.
