Children with Complex Needs - Support Worker Advertisement
Organisation: Reach Out Care Support Services
Location: Across Country Durham Area
Working Option: Sessional - including evenings (3pm onwards), weekends and school holidays
Hours of Work: Part time, casual.
Please do not apply unless you can commit to working evenings, weekends and school holidays ' out of school holidays work usually begins after 3pm until early evening.
This is an excellent second job or would suit Health and Social Care or Social Work students.
Rate of Pay: Minimum Living Wage

Training: Successful candidates will be paid to attend a 5 day induction training programme
Opportunity for successful candidates to take a Higher Adult Apprenticeship resulting in a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care while earning
Essential: Working with children and young adults with complex needs in a family/community setting in some capacity (ie you may have obtained transferable skills from eg. care of sibling or child)
Driving License
Desirable: Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, NNEB or Teaching Certificate or equivalent

Reach Out Care Support Services, based in Newton Aycliffe, is looking to recruit a number of people part- time to undertake direct work with children and young people with complex needs within the County Durham area.

A support role is varied and may include working within the child's home, helping with daily routines or you may be required to help the child to take part in activities within their local community.

No formal qualifications are required however, the service is CQC regulated successful candidates will be required to undertake a L3 qualification in Health and Social Care.

You must be reliable, have a mature character and be committed to working with young person with complex needs. This role may involve attending to a young person's personal care.

Driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.

Rocsolid - Supported Housing
Project Support Worker
Organisation: Rocsolid
Location: Newton Aycliffe and Billingham
Hours of Work: Part time
Rate of Pay: £8 per hour
Essential: Previous experience in a similar area of work is essential
Driving License
Desirable: Level 3 qualification in a relevant area of work

We are looking for a part time project support worker to join our team. You will be working between our two projects in Newton Aycliffe and Billingham.

The job role includes working closely with vulnerable people to help them to maintain their licence and acquire essential life skills i.e budgeting, cooking or accessing education. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.

Previous experience in a similar area of work is essential, additional training will be provided.

Level 3 qualification in a relevant area of work is desirable.

If you do not hold a qualification there is an opportunity to gain a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Candidates must be flexible as will be required to work evenings, weekends and some nights as part of a rota.
