How we work

We offer accommodation and life skills training to predominantly 16-25s who are:
  • previously Looked After
  • subject to child protection plans in relation to themselves or their child/children
  • homeless  and vulnerable

We complete a risk assessment for each young person. At Hope House young people receive 5-8 hours of one-to-one support per week. Support needs are assessed on an individual basis in our supported housing provision.  Part of the licence agreement for all ROCSOLID young people is that they agree to be in education, training or employment.

We signpost young people to a wide range of agencies and support them when attending interviews and appointments.

The service is over and above what I’ve come across with other supported accommodation providers.

Staff are committed to positive outcomes for young people and planning and reviews are of a high standard.

There’s nowhere quite like ROCSOLID in terms of caring and creating a family atmosphere.
