What we do
Parenting skills coaching, activities for children and young people with disabilities, supervised contacts, home monitoring visits ... all of these sit within Reach Out Care Support Services.
We contract with local authorities and with families under the Direct Payments Scheme for 0-18s (please click on Direct Payments for more information). Our portfolio includes Children in Need, Looked After Children and Children with Disabilities.
Our work includes:
- visits to local youth clubs, swimming sessions, life skills training, shopping trips and activities to enhance the lives of children and young people with disabilities
- personal care eg bathing, toileting, feeding and mobility transfers when working with children and young people with diabilities
- supervised contact between adults and children with appropriate record-keeping with reports for case conferences and court proceedings
- home monitoring visits on behalf of Social Services
- bespoke parenting skills sessions
