Our carefully selected support workers undergo thorough and ongoing training. The result is a wide range of positive feedback from local authority social workers, commissioners and individuals who contract us privately.
A three-day induction includes safeguarding vulnerable groups, risk assessment,
professional conduct and boundaries and paediatric first aid. This is followed by a rolling programme of diverse mandatory and voluntary training.
We carefully match support workers to individual children, young people and families to achieve best outcomes possible. Many are highly experienced with specialisms, including education and working with victims of domestic violence and people with alcohol and substance misuse issues.
Local authority monitoring visits have never raised the need for service or operational changes.
